Textbook Network

The Textbook Network at Shippensburg University houses programs to support students with their textbook needs. Students have the following options to receive support.

  • University Bookstore for buying and renting textbooks.
  • A Lending Library was established in the Spring 2022.
  • Book Scholarship for students that have identified financial need.
  • Reserve textbooks for student use at the library.

 

The programs are a collaboration between the Library, Financial Aid, the Student Accounts Office, the University Bookstore, the Office for Student Retention and the Office for Students First.

Application

Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at Shippensburg University need support with required course materials may request assistance. The student must have filed the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered. The amount of the award will be based on the number of enrolled credits:

  • 3-4 $150
  • 5-8: $250
  • 9-11: $400
  • 12+: $500

All required course materials will be purchased through the SU Campus Bookstore. An account with the award amount will be available at the bookstore. No funding will come directly to the student. Student will be notified via SU email address if approved.
