Tuition and Fees

Your tuition and fee charges will vary depending on whether you are enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or non-degree program. It will also depend on your state of residence and if you plan to live on campus and select a meal plan.

Tuition for the 2025-2026 Academic year

The PASSHE Board of Governors set tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year. At this meeting, the Board approved a tuition increase but also committed to reducing this increase if additional state funding is received as part of ongoing budget negotiations. The Board set tuition rates this week to give students, families, and universities time to prepare for the fall semester.

PASSHE continues to seek a 6.5 percent increase in state appropriations to PASSHE universities to maintain a record eight years of flat tuition. If sufficient funding is received from the state, the Board of Governors is committed to rolling back all or part of the increase approved yesterday. This flexible approach to setting tuition is new for PASSHE, but it demonstrates PASSHE’s continued commitment to offering affordable education.

After seven consecutive years of frozen tuition, PASSHE universities remain the most affordable four-year options in Pennsylvania, despite an increase in in-state undergraduate tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year of $11 per credit.

The Board set tuition this week to ensure preparations for the fall semester are in line for students, families, and universities.

We will continue to post updates as we learn more about state funding and its impact on tuition rates.
