Mission
Retention and Student Success at Shippensburg University offers a comprehensive array of support services aimed at guiding undergraduate students through their academic journey, culminating in degree completion. By leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, our office designs tailored interventions to reduce overall student attrition and address attrition within specific sub-groups.

Student Success Coach
The Student Success Coach attends to the needs of Shippensburg University students. Our coach works tirelessly to provide students with a range of support and connections to various services to ensure students have the tools necessary to be successful.
Role of the Student Success Coach:
- Referrals to Appropriate Campus Resources
- One-on-One Student Success Check-ins
