Here you'll find the housing agreements you’ll need to sign prior to living on campus, as well as Ship’s policies for housing.
- Incoming students will sign the housing agreement and pay the $200 housing deposit within the Admissions Application. It is part of the checklist seen after acceptance.
- The returning student housing agreement is located within myShip Experience under My Housing. Your agreement will be listed at the top of the portal under agreements. If you do not see the agreement, contact the Housing Office at (717) 477-1500.
- Graduate students can request an agreement by calling or e-mailing housing@ship.edu in order to have their agreement set up. There is a $200 deposit required with online agreements.

Request for Exemption, Cancellation, Release of Housing
Students may use this form to submit formal requests to the Housing office about their status as an on campus student.
Room Change Forms
This form can be obtained from your RA and submitted to the Residence Life Staff in your building.
Request a Single Room
Returning students will be offered single communal rooms in McLean Hall during the online room selection processes in the MyHousing portal. Once these rooms are filled you will be able to complete a form here for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 academic year. Cost of a single room is 1.5 times the communal room rate.
Temporary Housing Request Form
Shippensburg University temporary housing accommodations are available for short-term or long-term use. Shippensburg University maintains a limited number of housing units available for rent for students on a temporary basis. Read the policy.
Harley Hall MPR Reservation Form
Please complete this form at least one week prior to your event. The Harley Hall Multi-Purpose Room will be reserved based on availability.
Naugle Hall MPR Reservation Form

Damage and Billing Appeal Form
The Damage and Billing Appeal is for student who feels that they have been incorrectly or unfairly assessed for a damage/billing charge, a written appeal must be submitted via this webform and through no other formats.
Maintenance Request Form
Facilities maintenance requests submitted through this form are sent via email to your RD. The RD or RAs will take the information and enter it into the Facilities work request system. Work will be coordinated in your room to make the repairs in a timely manner.
