Translation in Spanish Certificate

The translation in Spanish certificate allows Spanish majors to add a level of specialization to their degree.

What Will I Learn?

Because translation today requires that translators specialize in one or more areas, we ask students in this program to bring together their linguistic skills in Spanish and knowledge and skills they developed in other areas at Shippensburg University.

For specialties, you may select:

  • A single subject area (your major or minor are acceptable as long as they are not Spanish)
  • A combination of relevant courses approved by the translation specialization coordinator

What are the requirements for this degree?

You must be a Spanish major to pursue a Translation in Spanish Certificate.
