Scholarships

At Shippensburg University, our mission is to make college accessible for all students, and one way we do that is through our scholarships. Scholarships are gifts. They do not have to be repaid!

Our Shippensburg University Foundation scholarships give students the opportunity to pursue their dreams, and our institutional scholarships provide additional support. Please click below to search and apply for our Foundation Scholarships, PASSHE Scholarships, or explore some recommended scholarship search sites.

Employee’s dependents who receive a tuition waiver are not eligible for Institutional aid/scholarships.

Shippensburg University Foundation Scholarships

These academic awards were established through contributions from alumni, friends, corporations, and associates of the Shippensburg University Foundation, a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1977 to support the university's programs and services.

Please note, not all scholarships are able to be combined. Presidential Scholarships (formerly Board of Governors Scholarships) for valedictorians and salutatorians and SU Foundation scholarships with values that exceed the maximum amount of a merit scholarship will replace the merit scholarship in a student’s financial aid package.

Shippensburg University Foundation Scholarships

Current students and prospective students who are admitted to the university may apply for Shippensburg University Foundation scholarships, but all are welcome to view our scholarship opportunities. Please note that only current students are eligible to complete applications for the Student Educator Resource Fund, Internship Opportunity Fund and the Student Emergency Fund when they are available.
