Undergraduate Courses Taught: 

I teach a wide variety of classes: Composition (WIFYS), Women's Literature, American Literature, and Technical/Professional Writing. Most of my writing classes have a service-learning focus. As Composition Director, I oversee the Composition Program and mentor the English Departments' AmeriCorps Vista, Jadya Coons. Jayda keeps a blog describing her experiences coordinating service-learning opportunities as the English Dept. Community Fellow. 

Current Projects: 

I am currently co-editing a book with Jessica Restaino titled Unsustainable: Owning Our Best, Short-Lived Efforts at Community Writing Work, under contract with Lexington Press. This collection focuses on issues of sustainability in the field of service-learning and features essays by Ellen Cushman, Paula Mathieu, Tom Deans, Eleanor Long, and Mike Donnelly, with an afterword by Eli Goldblatt.
