Respondus LockDown Browser
Respondus LockDown Browser is a tool that allows restrictions to be placed on assessments taken in the D2L platform. We have an integration set up with Respondus, so the LockDown Browser can easily be configured for quizzes in your course shells.

In order for quizzes to be taken using the LockDown restrictions, learners must first download the browser. See below for the links to the downloads. It is important to note that there are differing downloads based on machine type, and LockDown Browser is not available for mobile devices.

Respondus Monitor
Respondus Monitor is an online proctoring solution that adds webcam and video analytics to LockDown Browser. For more details, visit respondus.com/monitor.
To access instructor resources for LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor, log into D2L and navigate to the Quiz area. Click the “LockDown Browser” tab.
Training videos, guides, sample text for the syllabus, and more is available from the opening page of the tool. Use the tabs "Getting Started", "Video Tutorials", and "Guides & Support" to access various resources.
