Role of the Board Member

The Alumni Association Board of Directors advises on policy and programs and provides feedback and offers suggestions to the university administration.

Ongoing work includes:

Promoting brand awareness on campus
Sharing the Ship story
Advocating for Shippensburg University
Recommending alumni members for leadership positions within the board
Voting for the annual selection of alumni award recipients
Greeting alumni and volunteering at alumni signature events (Homecoming and Alumni Weekend)
Helping to plan and host regional alumni events
