Matthew Steck ’83

Matthew Steck ’83 is co-owner of Greenlee Partners, LLC, a Pennsylvania government affairs firm specializing in legislative and regulatory affairs, grassroots advocacy, and procurement. He joined Greenlee Partners in 1990 after serving as vice president of government relations for a regional insurance producer trade association.
Steck began his career with the Pennsylvania Senate, where he worked with Senate leadership and other members on issues involving local government and agriculture. His community and professional service has included the Dauphin County Industrial Development Authority, Dauphin County Economic Development Corporation, Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Foundation Board, and Capital Region Economic Development Corporation, where he previously served as chair.
Steck earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government Administration from Shippensburg University in 1983. He was appointed to the Shippensburg University Council of Trustees in 2018 and currently serves as Vice Chair.
