oriah Hathaway '19 is the Deputy Director of the Office of External Affairs for Governor Josh Shapiro. In this position, she works with various boards, commissions, stakeholders, and elected officials from across the state. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Women.
She graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with the bachelor’s degree in political science. She serves as a trustee and is the President of the Shippensburg University Alumni Board of Directors. Hathaway is from Carmichaels, Pennsylvania located in Greene County. She currently resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with her wife, Bailey, and son, Emerson.
