About Dr. Jolinda Wilson

decorativeJolinda Wilson joined Shippensburg University in 2023 as Vice President for Administration and Finance, bringing more than 25 years of experience in financial management, operations, and organizational leadership. Her career spans public accounting, information technology and project management, K–12 public education, and higher education. At Shippensburg, she provides executive leadership for the University’s financial and administrative operations and works closely with University leadership to advance institutional priorities and support long-term financial sustainability.

Prior to joining Shippensburg, Wilson served as Senior Director for Administrative Services – Student Affairs at Penn State University, where she led financial planning and strategic analysis.

Wilson’s connection to Shippensburg began as an undergraduate accounting student and has continued throughout her professional career. She later returned to pursue her Doctorate in Educational Leadership through the University’s joint doctoral program with Millersville University. In 2018, Wilson made University history when she became the first student to be awarded a doctoral degree by Shippensburg University. Her journey from undergraduate student to Shippensburg’s first doctoral graduate and, ultimately, a member of the University’s executive leadership team reflects a longstanding connection to the institution and provides a unique perspective on its mission and the opportunities it creates for students.
