University Leadership

The Chief of Staff provides strategic and operational support to the President and coordinates initiatives that cross University divisions and areas of responsibility. The Chief of Staff serves as liaison to the Council of Trustees, supports executive decision-making and institutional governance, and helps advance presidential and University priorities. The role also supports government, legislative, community, and external relations on behalf of the President and University.

The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs provides executive leadership for Shippensburg University's academic mission, including academic programs, colleges, graduate studies, faculty and academic personnel, curriculum, accreditation, assessment, and academic quality. The Provost also provides leadership for student success and retention, career readiness and workforce development, the Registrar, sponsored programs, institutional research, information technology, libraries, international programs, and strategic planning.

The Vice President for Administration and Finance provides executive leadership for the University's financial and administrative operations and the stewardship of its physical and financial resources. The division's primary responsibilities include budgeting and financial management, facilities management and planning, human resources, public safety, and administrative services. The Vice President works across the University to support effective operations, long-term financial sustainability, institutional planning, and a safe and well-maintained campus environment.

The Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing provides executive leadership for the University's enrollment strategy, student recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and institutional marketing and communications. The division develops and implements strategies to attract, enroll, and support students while strengthening Shippensburg University's market position, reputation, and brand. The Vice President works closely with academic and administrative leaders to align enrollment strategies with University priorities, academic programs, and changing student and workforce markets.

The Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students provides executive leadership for the student experience outside the classroom and for programs and services that support student well-being, engagement, belonging, and personal development. Student Affairs works across the University to connect students with resources, strengthen campus communities, support their essential needs, encourage leadership and involvement, and help students develop the skills and experiences necessary for success at Shippensburg and beyond.

The President and CEO provides executive leadership for the Shippensburg University Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization that secures and manages philanthropic resources in support of Shippensburg University's mission and students. Working in partnership with University leadership, alumni, donors, and friends of the University, the Foundation advances fundraising, scholarships, donor engagement, and other philanthropic initiatives that strengthen academic programs, student opportunities, facilities, and institutional priorities.
