Dr. Megan N. Luft is the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where she provides executive leadership for the university’s strategic enrollment initiatives, admissions operations, and institutional marketing and branding efforts. In this role, she oversees a comprehensive division responsible for attracting, enrolling, and retaining a diverse student population while advancing the university’s visibility and reputation across regional and national markets.
Dr. Luft was appointed Vice President in 2024 following service as interim associate vice president, during which she played a key leadership role in stabilizing and growing enrollment, expanding dual enrollment pathways, and strengthening recruitment strategies. Her work has included initiatives to increase first-time college enrollment, enhance transfer pathways, and expand graduate and nontraditional student recruitment efforts.
Prior to her current appointment, Dr. Luft held leadership and recruitment-focused roles across higher education and education services, including positions at Noodle, Widener University, Harrisburg University, Central Penn College, and the University of Phoenix. Her career reflects a consistent focus on enrollment strategy, student access, and institutional growth across both public and private higher education environments.
Dr. Luft holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication from Central Penn College, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Capella University, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University.
In addition to her university leadership role, she contributes to institutional planning and accreditation work, including service on Middle States self-study working groups focused on ethics and integrity.
