Victimology and Victim Services Certificate

Completing the victimology and victim services certificate program better prepares you for careers that involve working with crime victims. All undergraduate students, including criminal justice majors, are able to participate in this program.
The program is a series of classes that provide you with specialized knowledge of victimology, victim issues and systemic responses to victims. You will gain the background necessary to better understand causes, impact and treatment of victimization.
Completion of the certificate program will better prepare you for careers that directly involve working with crime victims, including careers in criminal justice, social work, teaching, counseling and many other human service fields.
