2026 Summer Learning Program Assistant Positions
SCRC is looking to hire 2-3 part-time SLP Assistant summer positions. The Summer Learning Program provides children who have completed K-11 grade with breakfast, lunch and activities during 7 weeks of the summer.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children
- Responsible, reliable, and assertive
- Ability to provide current, acceptable clearances (Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI)
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certified, training provided if needed
- Completion of additional trainings as requested and provided by SCRC
- Completion of online Mandated Reporter training
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities and clean-up
- Lead program activities when appropriate
- Implement behavior management plan for the program
- Communicate regularly with program Director
- Other duties as assigned for program implementation
- Hours Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- June 22-Aug. 7
- Fridays are field trips and depending on the field trip, hours may extend past 1 p.m.
- Compensation is $15/hour
