This program serves food-insecure students that live in the geographical area of the Shippensburg Area School District by providing a bag of 6 meals over the weekend during the academic year. It is open to any school aged child Kindergarten to 18 years old. The student does not need to attend a Shippensburg Area School District school. If the student is homeschooled, or attends a cyber, alternative, or private school please reach out to us about a pickup option.

Volunteers
The program is coordinated by SCRC and community volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, we need volunteers to organize food drives, pack food bags, and deliver food bags to schools. Community organizations and businesses can also partner with Hound Packs. Please contact Emily, SCRC Coordinator at coordinator-scrc@shipresources.org to find out how you or your group can get involved.
Donations
This program is funded by community members through monetary or food donations. We partner with many local churches that support us financially or collect food items.
