Health Insurance Required

New and returning international students must submit personal and health insurance information to the Global Education Center each semester by the end of the first week of classes.

You must also send proof of your health insurance from your company to the Global Education Center, no later than the Friday of the first week of classes.  You should email the copy of your insurance card or policy to Globaleducation@ship.edu.

International Student Organization (ISO)

decorativeThe International Student Organization (ISO) is a group that aims to increase the understanding of cultural differences.  ISO consists of international students as well as American students at Shippensburg University.  If you are interested in joining the organization, please attend one of the general meetings.

The International Student Lounge is located in the Ceddia Union Building Room 234.  Students are welcome to stop by and hang out!  Fall event information will be coming out in August.

Mission

Our mission is to promote cultural exchange and community-building among international and American students across campus.

Vision

Our vision is to connect international students when they first arrive on campus. We provide support and understanding as they start a new chapter in their lives and getting to know a new culture.

Getting involved on campus plays a huge part on students’ academic and personal success. All ISO events focus on maximizing opportunities to network and build relationships with various organizations and departments on campus.
