Homecoming Court 2026

Applications for Homecoming Court open on August 31 and close on September 12 at midnight.

Timeline

  • September 16 - Applications close at the end of the day
  • September 17 - Court will be announced
  • September 21 to 27 - Court Advertising
  • September 28 to October 1 - Voting Occurs

Requirements to apply: 

  • Nominees must be a junior or senior undergraduate student.
  • Nominees must have an on-campus SGA-recognized organization or an on-campus department to sponsor them.
    • By sponsoring a nominee, the sponsor is stating the nominee is a good candidate for Homecoming Court.
  • Nominees must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
  • Nominees must complete the application by the September 14, 2026 deadline.
  • ONLY self-nominations will be accepted.

How Royalty is decided:

Interview in front of a panel of staff and students, fundraise for the selected Homecoming philanthropy, complete a minimum of 6 community service hours, Student Body vote.
