The Graduate Certificate in Public Management is designed for those interested in pursuing careers in public service and current professionals in the field. The program consists of nine graduate credits, which consist of three courses in human resources, budgeting, and policy analysis.
This program will help prepare graduates for careers in public service or to advance
in their current careers in local, state, or federal government. It is also applicable to
those working in nonprofit organizations. The courses for this certificate are directly
transferable to the Shippensburg University Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree should the student wish to pursue further graduate education beyond the certificate.
