Understanding Your Grades
During a student’s academic career, a student will receive early warning grades approximately 7 weeks into the full semester. These grades, which do not become part of a student’s academic record, are intended to warn a student about classes they are in danger of failing. Early warning grades are available through the myShip Experience portal, and a notification of availability of early warning grades is sent to the student’s university e-mail account.
S/U Option
A request to change an undergraduate course to the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory option may be made only during the first 2 weeks of the fall/spring semester and only during the first 4 days of the winter/summer semester. After the deadline, no changes will be made.
